The Chamber is the leading advocate for business in Kent County.
We serve our members in ways that enhance our business community, the quality of life and the well-being of residents and visitors.
Referrals
We refer to our members first when the many calls we receive per day for business referrals are received.
Publications
The Chamber promotes our members and sponsors in our annual Kent County directory and map publications, in our brochures
Press Releases
We write and distribute press releases on news-worthy items for our members.
Email Newsletter
We publish a monthly electronic newsletter with hard copy available upon request. Weekly news flashes and reminders keep members aware of important, time-sensitive events and topics.
Website
The Chamber website at www.kentchamber.org contains pages on current legislative issues, Chamber events, and membership listings.
Events
We hold networking events such as mixers and breakfasts to showcase our member businesses. Together with S.C.O.R.E., we host educational seminars on topics of interest to local businesses. Annually, we sponsor the Kent County Agriculture Breakfast, Education Breakfast, and Legislative Review sessions to keep our members informed on current events.
Ribbon Cutting
We conduct Ribbon Cutting ceremonies to announce new businesses to the community.
Excellence in Business Awards Dinner
We recognize the best businesses and leaders in the County at our annual Excellence in Business Awards Dinner.
Young Professionals
Our Young Professionals Group, Connect! encourages and promotes young people in business in Kent County.
