As the leading advocate for business in Kent County, the Kent County Chamber of Commerce offers meaningful opportunities for members to get involved, connect, and make an impact. Our committee structure is designed to deliver value to members while strengthening the local business community.

The Chamber currently offers two special interest committees open to members: Business Development and Events and Voice of Business.

Business Development and Events Committee

The Business Development and Events (BDE) Committee focuses on strengthening business connections, increasing visibility, and driving engagement across Kent County. This committee plans and delivers the Chamber’s signature events and promotional initiatives that support business growth and member success.

Voice of Business Committee

The Voice of Business (VoB) Committee serves as the Chamber’s advocacy and education arm, providing businesses with timely information, meaningful dialogue, and a collective voice on issues that impact the local economy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Post-Legislative Session Discussions

  • Educational Seminars and Workshops

  • Community Engagement Initiatives

  • Letters of Support and Recommendation

  • Member Surveys and Business Feedback Reporting
