Kent County's own Crow Vineyard & Winery, the first winery established in the county, featured on MPT Farm and Harvest, recounts the number of growing wineries in Maryland. Being the first of several wineries to get its start in this area, Crow Vineyard & Winery has seen growth in its family-owned-and-operated Eastern Shore farm, as well as in the Maryland wine-growing region.

The 365-acre farm has gained its reputation over the past 10 years through quality grape-growing in the vineyard, and attentive care and craft in their state-of-the-art winery. Before their wine journey began in 2010, Crow Farms' focus was on grain, soy, and a herd of Grass-fed Angus beef. When Judy and Roy Crow married, the idea of sustaining the farm in another way started to take shape. Through educational seminars on grape-growing, and the return of their son, Brandon Hoy, now Vineyard Manager and co-owner, their venture was solidified.

In 2010 the Crow's planted their first vines, Vidal Blanc and Barbera, which are just 2 of the now 8 varieties grown in their 12-acre vineyard. Their wine has attracted the likes of guests near and far. Connoisseurs, enthusiasts, and newcomers all want to experience the quality wine, but also the tranquility of the farm. Crow Vineyard & Winery has secured its place within the community, through local support and success in state and international competition, the Crow's vision has transpired. They invite guests to their authentic working farm to experience all that they have to offer. Wine tastings, elevated events, wine seminars, and a farm-stay B&B and cottage are just a few activities waiting for you at Crow Vineyard & Winery.
