Figg’s Ordinary, LLC is thrilled to mark its fifth anniversary and to celebrate the occasion is pleased to announce it will resume indoor seating and service effective March 15, 2022.
Ingrid Hansen, Owner and CEO of Figg’s Ordinary, notes, “Everyone at Figg’s Ordinary is thankful to the Chestertown community for their years of loyal patronage, and our team is anxious to welcome our customers back into Figg’s. The past two years have been hard -- who knew operating a bakery and restaurant would hone my indoor air quality, public health, and personal protective equipment skills?” Despite the pandemic, Figg’s has endured, and in fact grown through a combination of online sales and marketing and enhanced distribution by more regional distributors. “Whoever said necessity is the mother of invention was spot on. I commend our loyal staff for their endless innovation and perseverance through a long two years. On the whole, the experience had made us more nimble, creative, and, like service industry entrepreneurs everywhere, better able to manage the occasional cranky customer.”
To celebrate our five-year anniversary and the return of indoor seating, Figg’s is offering free cupcakes and coffee to our community of patrons all day Tuesday. Discounts and other swag will be popping up Wednesday through the end of the week. Stop in or online to learn more and get some!
Figg’s Ordinary Winter Operating Hours: Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
