Great Oak Manor Announces New Executive Chef

Brooks Bradbury, General Manager of Great Oak Manor, has announced the hiring of Executive Chef Winston Guerrero. Chef Winston will be responsible for the new direction of all Great Oak Manor culinary operations. “We are delighted to welcome Chef Winston Guerrero to Great Oak Manor. His expertise will help us achieve our goal of offering a premium dining experience while providing all meals for our guests beyond our current breakfast-only service and to achieve our vision of hospitality excellence.”

Winston Guerrero, Great Oak Manor Executive Chef

Winston Guerrero is a Colombian native who grew up in Central Falls, Rhode Island. After serving in the US Marine Corps, Guerrero graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts. He has been a chef for over 29 years, living and cooking in major cities and in states along the US east coast. 

His experience includes the four-star Relais & Châteaux Morrison House in Alexandria Virginia, the Grand Hyatt New York, and the Peninsula in New York City, Seeger’s Relais & Châteaux in Atlanta, The Lodge at Buckberry Creek in Tennessee, Langham Hotel Boston, and owning Mosaic Latin Bistro in Providence, Rhode Island. In addition to his experience in fine cuisine, Guerrero received a certification in Pastry Arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York.
