Since 1995, Horizons of Kent and Queen Anne’s has provided academic support and meaningful enrichment to Pre-K through grade 12 students living in local underserved communities. Horizons students are taught by skilled and nurturing educational professionals in small classes that are tailored to the students’ needs. The student-centered, hands on curriculum maximizes student engagement and retention. In addition, students participate in swimming lessons, various on-campus enrichment activities, and field trips that teach them about their communities and the world. Horizons transforms the way students see themselves and their future.
Emily will begin in mid-December and will be located in Horizons’ Chestertown office at 116-B Lynchburg Street. Emily will join part-time employee, Vickie Anderson.
