Wishes and witches feature prominently in Kent County High School's upcoming musical production, set to take the stage this month.
Theater students at the high school will be performing "Into the Woods JR.," an adaptation of a Tony-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine.
The show features such familiar fairy tale characters as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack, of the famed beanstalk, in a "lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables."
The curtain goes up in the Kent County High School auditorium at 7 p.m. for evening performances Friday Feb. 27 and Saturday Feb. 28 and at 2 p.m. for a matinee Sunday, March 1.

General admission is $10; student tickets are $5.
