Kent School to Host Admission Open House on October 21

Kent School, an independent school serving children in Preschool 3 through Grade 8, will host its Fall Admission Open House on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:30 p.m for the Kindergarten through Grade Eight program. Families are invited to visit the School’s riverside campus located just outside of historic Chestertown to learn more about the benefits of a Kent School education.

The Open House will feature a welcome from Head of School Nancy Mugele, guided campus tours, opportunities to meet teachers, and conversations with current students and parents. Families will gain insight into Kent School’s child-centered approach, small class sizes, and strong commitment to both academic excellence and social-emotional growth.

“We are excited to share our engaging classrooms, dynamic curriculum, and supportive community with prospective families,” said Tricia Cammerzell, Assistant Head of School for Advancement. “Visiting our School in-person  is the best way to experience the warmth and energy that make Kent School such a special place.”

Kent School offers a balanced program designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and character development. With a strong foundation in core academics, enriched by the arts, athletics, and an environmental focus unique to its Chesapeake Bay setting, the School provides students with the tools they need to thrive in high school and beyond.
