The Peoples Bank is excited to announce that Kim Swyka has joined our team of lenders as a loan officer and Vice President. A native of Cecil County, Swyka comes to the Bank with 35 years of experience in community banking.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Kim on board with our lending team,” stated David Bowman, Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. “Her prior experience is a huge asset to our already accomplished team, and her considerable knowledge of our products and services will be a great benefit to our current and future customers.”
Swyka is very active in her local community, serving on the Board of Directors for Youth Empowerment Source as well as Christiana Care/Union Hospital Foundation. She has taught first time homebuyer classes and credit/budgeting classes with the Cecil County Housing Authority in Elkton, MD. She is also an active member of the Cecil County Board of Realtors, has served as Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of the North East Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for the Perryville Chamber of Commerce.
During her leisure time, Swyka enjoys spoiling her granddaughter, boating, cooking, working on her house, and spending time with friends and family.
The Peoples Bank, with seven locations to better serve our neighbors, celebrated its 110th year in 2020.
