Maryland Capital Enterprises Women’s Business Center Announces Free July 2026 Business Training Series

The Maryland Capital Enterprises (MCE) Women’s Business Center (WBC)  invites entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and aspiring business owners to participate in its July 2026  lineup of free educational programs designed to help individuals launch, grow, and strengthen their  organizations. The series includes both online webinars and an in-person networking and  professional development event. 

From community engagement and media exposure to annual reporting and business startup  fundamentals, July’s training schedule offers practical tools and expert guidance for businesses and  nonprofits at every stage of development. Registration is required for all programs.

July 10, 2026 | Noon – 1:00 p.m. | Online Webinar 

Presented by Marcell Williams of The Williams International Network, this webinar explores how  relationships, partnerships, trust, volunteer support, and community engagement can become  valuable forms of “community currency” that contribute to long-term organizational success.  Participants will learn strategies for building stronger community connections and leveraging  collaborative opportunities for sustainable growth.

Annual Reporting 101: Your Year in Review – Turning Outcomes into an Impactful Annual  Report

Gabrielle Hall, Program Coordinator for the Baltimore Metropolitan Women’s Business Center,  will discuss how organizations can effectively communicate their accomplishments through  compelling annual reports. Participants will learn how to highlight impact, showcase outcomes, and  create reports that resonate with funders, stakeholders, and community partners.  

First Steps of Starting Your Own Business 

July 22, 2026 | Noon – 1:00 p.m. | Online Webinar 

Presented by Nick Rudolph, Baltimore Regional Director for Maryland Capital Enterprises, this  introductory session covers the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including business ownership  considerations, Maryland startup requirements, the importance of credit, and business planning  essentials.
