Tracy Grammer – Mainstay Debut Saturday – April 4th 7:30PM

The Mainstay in Rock Hall will welcome nationally recognized folk singer songwriter Tracy Grammer for her first appearance at the venue on Saturday April 4 at 7:30 PM. The performance marks Grammer’s debut at the intimate Eastern Shore listening room and continues The Mainstay’s long tradition of presenting accomplished national touring artists in a close concert setting.

Tracy Grammer is widely known in contemporary folk music for her expressive vocals, masterful guitar playing, and engaging storytelling. She first gained national recognition as part of the influential duo Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer and has continued a successful solo career that has brought her to major folk festivals, concert halls, and radio audiences across the country. Her recordings and performances combine lyrical songwriting, traditional folk influences, and thoughtful interpretations that have made her a respected voice in modern acoustic music.

Born in Florida and raised in California, Grammer began playing violin as a child and later expanded her musical palette to include guitar, mandolin, and songwriting. Her partnership with Dave Carter produced several acclaimed recordings and helped establish the duo as a significant presence on the American folk scene. Since Carter’s passing in 2002 she has continued performing both his songs and her own original work, releasing several solo recordings and touring widely throughout North America.

Grammer’s concerts are known for their warmth, musical precision, and thoughtful connection with audiences. Her performances blend powerful vocals, lyrical storytelling, and skillful instrumental work, creating an evening that appeals to both longtime folk listeners and new audiences discovering acoustic music.

The Mainstay, located in the harbor town of Rock Hall, Maryland, has served as a nonprofit center for live music on Maryland’s Eastern Shore for nearly three decades. The 120 seat listening room presents a year round calendar of jazz, folk, classical, blues, bluegrass, and Americana concerts featuring regional, national, and international performers.

Tickets for Tracy Grammer on Saturday April 4 at 7:30 PM are available through InstantSeats and through The Mainstay website. Additional information about the concert and other upcoming performances can be found at mainstayrockhall.org.
