Caleb A. Taylor, MHA, CPHQ, recently joined UM Shore Regional Health as the new Director of Quality, Patient Safety, and Regulatory Programs. University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM SRH) is a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System.
Taylor joins the organization with a strong background in healthcare quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation and healthcare operations. Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing high-reliability principles, strengthening patient safety culture and driving operational excellence through collaboration, data-informed decision-making and continuous process improvement.
A graduate of the inaugural Master of Health Administration (MHA) cohort at Howard University, Taylor is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and is passionate about developing systems that improve outcomes for patients, caregivers and the communities we serve.

Taylor will partner with UM SRH leaders and frontline team members to support regulatory readiness, performance improvement initiatives, patient safety strategies, accreditation activities and the organization's ongoing pursuit of clinical excellence.
