Safe Harbor Great Oak Landing is a large resort marina located on the Chesapeake Bay in Chestertown , Maryland.  We are a full-service marina with 350 fixed and floating slips, ABYC certified technicians, a 75-ton Travel lift able to launch and haul vessels up to 80’ in length and beams of up to 31’. Currently at the Marina we are actively recruiting to fill two critical positions: Dockmaster and Assistant Dockmaster.  These positions would constitute outstanding opportunities for individuals intending to build a rewarding career in the recreational marine industry.

Sherrie Hill, RN, MSN, CSHFN, clinical coordinator, University of Maryland Shore Medical Center (UM SMC) at Chestertown, was recently honored as an “Everyday Hero.” Hill was nominated by Mary Carlisle, a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patient, for the knowledgeable and accessible care she provides at the hospital.
