For All Seasons is offering free training, Human Trafficking 101, both online and in person throughout the five-county area. Susan Ahlstrom, Human Trafficking Regional Navigator, is eager to share with as many community members as possible information about human trafficking in our region – the intersection of online safety and trafficking, and the fact that trafficking knows no boundaries as it affects individuals who are young, old, rich, poor, LGBTQ+, male, or female.

Shore Legal Access recently welcomed Abigale Detrich as its fall semester Sandy Brown Public Interest Intern. Shore Legal Access is a nonprofit legal assistance organization that uses the legal system to protect and advance the economic stability of limited-means individuals and households on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Detrich, of Federalsburg, works with the organization’s Mid-Shore staff at its Easton office.

On Monday, December 2 Kent School students in Grades One and Eight will partner to identify constellations and perhaps get a glimpse of the International Space Station as it passes overhead under darkened skies on Kent School’s riverside campus. Heidi Usilton, Middle School Science Teacher said, “The conditions are ideal for the Second Annual STARFEST. Kent School’s rural campus enjoys minimal ambient light. The naturally dark evening skies along with the new moon and clear weather provides the perfect backdrop for stargazing.”

Set in the former BB&T Bank on Cypress Street in Millington, Kent  Reserve will provide high-quality, affordable cannabis in a welcoming and inclusive space to medical and  recreational customers aged 21 and over.
