Kent County Middle School is sending off 116 students to the high school this fall. The middle school celebrated the promotion of those eight-graders with a ceremony in the gym attended by family, friends and community members Wednesday morning, June 11.

The Delmarva Pride Center is excited to announce its upcoming event, “A Night in New Orleans,” a vibrant fundraiser celebrating Pride Month and supporting the ongoing efforts to promote equality and inclusivity in the community. The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, 2025, with a VIP Cocktail Hour starting at 6:00 PM and Concert and Dance starting at 7:00 PM at the historic Garfield Center for the Arts in Chestertown, Maryland.
For All Seasons “Sip Safe” Campaign Targets Drug-Facilitated Sexual Assaults
In April, For All Seasons’ Sexual Assault Awareness focused on educating the community on the topic of drug-facilitated sexual assault. Its “Sip Safe” Campaign raised awareness about the risks associated with drug- and alcohol-facilitated sexual assault while promoting proactive behaviors that enhance personal and community safety.

The Kent County Board of Education honored wrestling standout Scottie Ford, track star Ramon "R.J." Peterson and swimming champion Henry Martinez during a meeting held Monday, April 14.
