The Mainstay Rock Hall to host annual New Year's Eve Potlick Dinner
The Mainstay in Rock Hall will once again welcome the community for its annual New Year’s Eve Potluck Dinner on Wednesday December 31 starting at 6:00PM, a long-standing tradition filled with music, food, and celebration. This year’s festivities will feature the renowned pianist Joe Holt, whose improvisational brilliance and joyful performance style have made him a favorite on The Mainstay stage.
Garnet students create KCPS holiday cards
A pair of fifth-graders are the artists behind this year's Kent County Public Schools' holiday greeting cards. The artwork by H.H. Garnet Elementary School students Emma Pannett and Morgan Pettitt was selected by Superintendent Dr. Mary Boswell-McComas for this year's cards. The students were presented with certificates by the Kent County Board of Education Monday evening, Dec. 8.
For All Seasons Participates in National Rural Health Day Bus Tour
In honor of National Rural Health Day on November 20, 2025, For All Seasons participated in the Rural Maryland Council’s 2025 Rural Summit Health-Focused Bus Tour, showcasing innovative approaches to improving health and wellness in rural communities. Participants also visited Choptank Community Health System’s new Federalsburg Health Center and the new University of Maryland Shore Regional Health’s building site in Easton.
Planetarium Christmas Show at KCHS
A holiday tradition at Kent County High School returns this week as retired science teacher Dennis Herrmann presents the 38th annual Planetarium Christmas Show. The Planetarium Christmas Show is being produced by the high school's radio station 90.5 FM WKHS. Admission is free and seasonal refreshments will be served.
