• Chester River Hospital Auxiliary 

Serving in the daily operation of the hospital and contributing in countless ways to  assure the satisfaction to patients and visitors. • Chester River Chorale 

A vibrant all-volunteer, 80-voice community chorus in its 23rd season of performing a  wide variety of choral music in the Kent County community. Members range in age from  teenagers to octogenarians and come together through a love of singing, learning new  music, and expanding their musical skills.

To celebrate the history of Chestertown and Kent County. The event takes place every  Memorial Day weekend. It includes a block party, parade, reenactment of throwing tea  into the Chester River, historical interpreters, artisan vendors, local food, beer and wine  tasting and a raft race.

• Compass 

A regional provider of hospice care, supportive care, and grief services in Caroline, Kent,  and Queen Annes counties, allowing patients to spend their final months the way they  choose, guiding loved ones after a life limiting diagnosis, and showing individuals  healthy ways to manage their grief. • The Frank M. Jarman American Legion Post 36 - Chestertown, MD The mission of The American Legion is “to enhance the well-being of America’s veterans,  their families, our military, and our communities by our devotion to mutual helpfulness”.  Post 36 in Chestertown strives to maintain those standards in our local Kent and Queen  Anne County areas.
