What Do You Like About The Kent County Community?: As a business owner, the short drives to Annapolis, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia are terrific. As in 1790, I feel like I am in the center of everything. Personally, quick access to everything is perfect - a couple minute walk to downtown, a couple minute drive to all the Kent County towns, low-key waterfront hamburgers and drinks at the Chester River Country Club, numerous music venues to spend an evening, and relaxing restaurants and pubs to catch up with friends. We have been restoring and renovating our 1876 home and we have been grateful to have great local people working with us from landscapers to painters to electricians to plumbers to surveyors to the town hall staff, historic commission, and utilities commission.
What Do You Like About Doing Business In And Around Kent County?: The endless opportunities to do what I have envisioned for AFI. With the many small business owners and operators having a significant role in Kent County's economy, it's important to ensure they have a number of options to look to for financial advice and support. Advisors Financial has a strong track record with multi-generational families, business owners, government employees, and entrepreneurs. Strengthening our community's financial health to be sustainable for the current and future generations is what I like most about being in Kent County.
