SUBMITTED BY JOHN QUEEN | BAYSIDE H.O.Y.A.S., INC.

The Bayside H.O.Y.A.S, Inc., is seeking new community members to be appointed to the Board of Directors of this non-profit youth services organization. We are requesting interested community members to give serious consideration to nomination for a Board position. The next several years promise to be exciting ones for the Bayside H.O.Y.A.S. The organization will continue to have a positive impact on the communities we serve. The Board of Directors will play a central role in this important work. As you consider this opportunity, we ask that you review your time and commitment as we are expecting the Board and its members to be active in our responsibilities to the communities we serve.

A primary responsibility of Board Directors is to participate in the development of policy, structure and major decision-making at Board meetings once a month, on every second Thursday, typically from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00p.m. A key responsibility is to be active on an on-going basis on our Board. Since its founding in 2013, Bayside H.O.Y.A.S. has become recognized as an effective provider of support and resources to youth and their families in need, having real impact within the community. We invite you to become a part of this growing tradition.

If you are interested or have any questions please contact us at baysidehoyas2013@gmail.com. You will be asked to complete a short Board of Directors application.
