March is upon us, and for Crow Vineyard & Winery that means it's time to celebrate. The month of March was dubbed Maryland Wine Month by the Maryland wine industry back in 2017, giving Maryland wineries a chance to showcase their uniquely diverse product to consumers, and bring awareness to the growing industry. For Crow, this month-long celebration falls perfectly in line with the news of their latest award-winning wines.
The 2020 Governor's Cup was scheduled to take place in August of 2020 but was rescheduled several times due to Covid-19, and finally took place in February 2021. For Crow, and many other Maryland wineries, the competition not only yielded awards, but also much-needed excitement in what was otherwise a challenging year. Each of the wines submitted by Crow Vineyard came back with medals. Crow Club Select Red Blend and Malbec, a newer varietal grown and produced by Crow, came back with gold medals. While their 2019 Pinot Gris and 2016 Barbera collected silver medals.
Crow Vineyard & Winery has always been a destination for consumers to come and enjoy authentic educational experiences involving their quality wines. These newly awarded wines will be showcased throughout the month of March, in tandem with several unique events. The public can join in on the March celebration in several ways:
Attend One of Crow Vineyard's March Events:
Spring Hayride & Tasting - Sunday, March 7th | 1-3pm

Crow Vineyard & Winery has successfully pivoted several times during the pandemic and takes pride in providing a safe and sanitized environment for their guests.
While March is Maryland Wine Month, honoring the Maryland wine industry, Crow Vineyard has found a way to weave in several local partners to bring awareness to all that Kent County has to offer. Myrtle's Birthday Party, the Crow's beloved retriever, will benefit The Animal Care Shelter of Kent County with donations from their wish list (https://kenthumane.org/our-wish-list/), giving guests a complimentary wine tasting in return. Their Wine & Oyster Pairing features local Orchard Point Oyster Co., raw oysters paired with their wines, and gives those attending the opportunity to purchase oysters during the event. Another way to join in the festivities is to make a reservation during the month of March. Crow will be featuring one of their award-winning wines during each week of March, giving visitors a complimentary tasting and the chance to purchase these bottles at a discounted price:
