Youth Outreach Program Offered By Mid Shore Behavioral Health

Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc.'s Youth Outreach Program serves Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot County youth with a no-cost substance-use intervention and education program, while providing peer support and care resources. This program is for youth who are showing signs of a substance use disorder; live in a high-risk home; who are at risk of a substance use disorder; or who are resistant to traditional services. The program includes a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist who provides a supportive relationship while assessing the individual's needs and creating a coordinated assistance plan. The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will also help navigate services and resources available for the individual, with treatment referrals made when needed.
