Business community members, family, and friends celebrate Clayton Contracting’s Ribbon Cutting on July 12th.

The Kent County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Clayton Contracting, Inc. to the Kent County business community with a Ribbon Cutting held in front of their newly purchased equipment, on July 12th 2022. Clayton Contracting hosted a Business After Hours Mixer directly following the event, at Molly’s Restaurant, with great food and networking opportunities. Both events were well attended by Kent County Chamber of Commerce Board Members, local community business leaders, as well as friends and family.

Sarah King, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, introduced the new business owners, saying “I am excited to welcome Clayton Contracting as a member of the Kent County Chamber of Commerce and thankful to them for hosting such a wonderful event. Our members and the Kent County community will benefit greatly in having such experienced professionals providing valuable services to the local area.”

Clayton Contracting, Inc. is owned and operated by David and Stefanie Clayton, both Kent County natives. The business officially started operations earlier this year and has completed several commercial and residential projects.
