The Historical Society of Kent County is looking for a new Executive Director.
Applicants must have experience working with volunteer committees to produce exhibits, publications, and programs highlighting Kent County’s rich and diverse history, and with fundraising, grant writing, social media, and community outreach to support Society operations.
The position is full time with a flexible schedule. Local candidates will be given preference. A position description can be found on the Society’s website at www.kentcountyhistory.org.

The Historical Society of Kent County is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to gathering and sharing the rich history of all the people of Kent County through its museum, research library and archives, website, exhibits, programs, and events. Now in its 86th year, the Society strives to foster knowledge and understanding of our shared heritage. The Society is headquartered in the Bordley History Center at 301 High Street, in the heart of Chestertown’s Historic District.
