"I love to stand back to see the artwork displayed all together that we have worked hard on through the year," said visual arts teacher Aimée Boumiea. "It's a proud teacher moment for me when I see my students excited to explain how they made the artwork on display to their families."
The exhibition opens April 26 with an Artists' Preview from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Another public viewing is being held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 27.
The Fine Arts Showcase will begin at 6 p.m. April 28, with live musical performances from students in all five schools, including the Kent County High School concert and jazz bands and chorus.
"This is a really great chance for families and people from the community to see the wonderful work that our students are doing in the arts," said music teacher Jodi Bortz.
