Kent Attainable Housing, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to construct affordable homes and rehabilitate existing homes to sell to limited-income, hardworking families to enable them to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
This allocation of tax credits will support the fundraising efforts for the future construction of its Lambs Meadow project located in Butlertown, MD. KAH intends to build a duplex of two affordable housing units. These two forever homes will mark the fifth and sixth affordable homes KAH has been able to develop in the Kent County community since its founding in 2019.
KAH is primarily investing in community revitalization and new construction on the Prospect St. area in Chestertown and Lambs Meadow Rd in Butlertown. KAH’s work focuses on revitalizing vacant and dilapidated lots into affordable homes for hardworking residents. Community revitalization in these areas will help transform these neighborhoods for future generations.
