May is Mental Health Awareness Month and For All Seasons wants the public to know that it is never too early or too late to seek treatment for your mental health. Mental health is an essential part of overall health. Unlike other physical and mental disabilities, depression, anxiety, and other challenges may not always be readily visible to friends and family. Because we don't know who might be suffering from a mental health issue, it is more important than ever to check in on one another regularly to ask with care and full attention: "How are you doing?" Have you checked in on people in your life this month?

Get Carried Away by 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' at KCMS
Theater students at Kent County Middle School are taking the stage to present "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." Performances are set for 6 p.m. Thursday, June 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday, June 3 at the middle school. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. Members of the Class of 2023 can enjoy the show free.
Historical Society Job Opening
The Historical Society of Kent County is seeking a part-time Archivist/Librarian to take charge of an ongoing digitization and cataloging effort. The Archivist/Librarian will also assist with the preservation of the Historical Society’s collections and field research inquiries from members. The Archivist/Librarian will be responsible for overseeing visitors to the research library.
Benedictine Celebrates Sr. Jeannette Award Winner and All Nominees
Benedictine celebrated the winner and all the nominees of the distinguished Sister Jeannette award during a luncheon earlier this spring. The award was established in 2012 by the Benedictine Board of Directors in honor of Sister Jeannette, who served as Benedictine’s leader for over 30 years. The annual award recognizes an employee who exemplifies Benedictine’s values of Hospitality, Dignity of Work and Compassionate Caring.
Kent School Seventh Grade Fishes to Help The Chester
On Wednesday, May 10 Kent School Seventh Grade students held a fishing derby - Catch The Invaders. The purpose of the derby was to catch invasive species in the Chester River. Catch the Invaders was a culminating project that the students developed as part of the Watershed Watch initiative in conjunction with Sultana Education Foundation.

Featuring a spring concert, food trucks and a silent auction, all proceeds will go to Rock Hall Elementary School.
Town of Chestertown Supports Kent Attainable Housing, Inc. with $178,750 in ARPA Funding
Kent Attainable Housing, Inc. (KAH) is pleased to announce the acceptance of a $178,750 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grant from the Town of Chestertown. KAH will use these funds to support its efforts to increase affordable homeownership opportunities and address housing insecurity for low-to-moderate-income families who live or work in Chestertown.
