 For All Seasons Launches Suicide Prevention Campaign: “I'm Fine” Isn’t the Whole Story

According to the Centers for Disease Control, in 2023, suicide was among the top eight leading causes of death for people ages 10 to 64 and the second leading cause of death for people ages 10 to 34. To address this urgent issue in our community, For All Seasons is launching its annual suicide prevention campaign under the theme “I'm Fine” Isn’t the Whole Story – a message reminding us that the people we care about might be struggling silently behind words that seem reassuring.

Kent County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Mary Boswell-McComas invites everyone to a special presentation of the plans for a new Kent County Middle School. A community presentation is being held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 in the Kent County Middle School gym. Architects from Crabtree, Rohrbaugh and Associates will present the design of the new middle school building to the public.

The University of Maryland Shore Medical Group (UM SMG) is proud to announce the opening of UM SMG – Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, a new specialty practice offering advanced cosmetic and reconstructive services. The practice, led by Joshua Harrison, MD, will begin seeing patients on September 1, 2025, at 5 Martin Court in Easton, Maryland. UM SMG encompasses the medical practices affiliated with University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM SRH), a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System.
