Shore Legal Access (SLA) recognizes the contributions of its three Sandy Brown Public Interest Interns - Giana Cauble, Alexander Vlangas, and Lilibeth Baltazar - as they end their summer internships at the nonprofit legal aid organization. Cauble and Vlangas have worked from SLA’s Salisbury office, and Baltazar has been based in Easton.

Kent School to Host Annual Secondary School Fair
On Wednesday, October 8, Kent School will host the annual Secondary School Fair for students in Grades Six, Seven and Eight and their parents or guardians. Kent School’s Secondary School Fair is open to all families in the area and there is no fee to attend. The event will be held in the M. V. “Mike” Williams Gymnasium (or outside on our riverside field weather permitting) from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. To date, over 20 schools are registered to attend including several independent, parochial, and area public schools, both day and boarding schools.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, in 2023, suicide was among the top eight leading causes of death for people ages 10 to 64 and the second leading cause of death for people ages 10 to 34. To address this urgent issue in our community, For All Seasons is launching its annual suicide prevention campaign under the theme “I'm Fine” Isn’t the Whole Story – a message reminding us that the people we care about might be struggling silently behind words that seem reassuring.
