Administrative and Communications Manager 

Full-time; Exempt

Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Easton, MD, is seeking an Administrative and Communications Manager to fill a new role at MSBH, joining a growing, passionate, dedicated, and diverse team.  

This new position will provide meeting coordination and support, facilitate Board correspondence and other  governance related support activities, develop, and enhance external communications to include press  releases and the MSBH bi-weekly newsletter, support the team’s effective and safe IT/computer usage;  respond to team help calls, and consult with contracted IT services on cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.  Another function will be oversight of vendor contracts and advising Senior Leadership on facility maintenance  and improvements. Reporting to the Administrative Director, the Administrative and Communications  Manager will supervise and coach the Administrative Specialist and Marketing & Events Coordinator. This  position will report to the office Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 4:30, with the potential for a hybrid  telework arrangement.

Job Requirements: 

Minimum Education: A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, business administration,  humanities, or related field.  

Minimum Experience: Three years relevant professional experience working in an administrative capacity. Five  years of experience as a supervisor.  

Required Skills: Highly proficient writing, editing, verbal, and organizational skills. Proficient in social media,  event planning, and computer hardware/software problem solving skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft  Outlook with experience in virtual meeting platforms, Google Drive, Sharepoint, Adobe, Microsoft Suite, and  Constant Contact (or equivalent). 

Ability to Travel: Will be required to travel as needed, regionally, for meetings, training, events, or  conferences.
