Jeanette Jeffrey has joined the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown as Health Educator on the hospital’s Rural Health Care Transformation Team. The Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD) has declared a blood shortage emergency and is asking people across the state to donate blood to help replenish blood supplies. UM Chester River Health Foundation Raises More Than $239,000 for New Telemetry Patient Care Equipment at Chestertown Hospital
The University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown is being enhanced thanks to a newly-purchased high-technology telemetry system which plays a vital role in the care of patients. The system, with a cost of nearly a quarter-million dollars, was purchased for the hospital by the University of Maryland Chester River Health Foundation.
