ShoreRivers, an environmental organization that protects and restores Eastern Shore waterways through science-based advocacy, restoration, and education, seeks a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Technician to assist in delivering restoration projects that support our efforts to achieve healthy waterways across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The ideal candidate will be a driven, energetic professional who is enthusiastic about restoring the natural environment and pursuing a career in restoration design.

The Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries are polluted, and the time to act against this destruction is now. Just before Thanksgiving, ShoreRivers hosted the 11th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Although the audience could not be together in person, the sense of community was strong as more than 1,000 passionate environmental advocates gathered online to view a diverse array of captivating conservation films.
November was National Home Care Month and for the staff of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health’s two home care entities, UM Shore Home Care and UM Chester River Home Care, there has been much to celebrate. This year more than ever, the 50 staff members went out of their way to make a difference in the health and well-being of their patients, providing a full range of services in homes, group homes, and residential care facilities.
