Kent County Public Schools' deaf and hard of hearing teacher was honored with this month's Golden Anchor Award for her dedication, kindness and unwavering patience. Karen Martin received her award from the Kent County Board of Education Monday night, Jan. 12.

The Garfield Center will be holding open auditions in early February for “The SpongeBob Musical”, a family friendly show that will run Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM from April 17th through May 3rd.
