The Garfield Center for the Arts begins the 2026 season with an edge-of-your-seat thriller by master storyteller Stephen King. Adapted for the stage by playwright William Goldman, King’s “Misery” opens February 20 and runs weekends through March 8. Rotary Club presents Soup and Sip donation to KCPS
The Chestertown Rotary Club presented Kent County Public Schools this month with a donation for its visual arts program. Beverly Birkmire, the club's foundation chair, attended the Board of Education's monthly meeting Jan. 12 with a check for $3,500. The money was raised during the club's annual Soup and Sip event, held last October at Chester River Yacht and Country Club.
