Easton, Md  – Registration for 2026 YMCA of the Chesapeake youth summer camps is now open, giving families across the Eastern Shore the opportunity to plan for a summer filled with fun, friendship, and growth.

The Mainstay in Rock Hall will present an evening of Brazilian jazz and bossa nova when vocalist Daniela Soledade and guitarist Nate Najar return to the venue for their Love and Bossa Nova concert on Saturday April 11 at 7:30 PM. The performance brings the internationally touring duo back to the Eastern Shore following a recent European tour and continues The Mainstay’s tradition of presenting outstanding artists from the international jazz and acoustic music scene.

The Mainstay in Rock Hall will welcome nationally recognized folk singer songwriter Tracy Grammer for her first appearance at the venue on Saturday April 4 at 7:30 PM. The performance marks Grammer’s debut at the intimate Eastern Shore listening room and continues The Mainstay’s long tradition of presenting accomplished national touring artists in a close concert setting. 

Kent County Public Schools (KCPS), in partnership with Crabtree, Rohrbaugh &  Associates (CRA) and with support from the Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) recently celebrated the  winners of the “Our School, Our Inspiration” student photo quest—an engaging activity inviting students  to explore Kent County and capture images that reflect the natural beauty and character of their  community.  

The Garfield Center has announced the 2026 Playmakers Director and the start date for open registration. Playmakers is the GCA’s well-loved and successful theatrecraft and acting camp for young aspiring performers ages 8 through 15. The 2026 camp begins July 6th and ends with its performance weekend on July 31, August 1 and 2. 

The Mainstay will welcome acclaimed folk singer songwriter and storyteller Mike Agranoff for a special performance on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 7:30 PM. Known for his wide ranging repertoire and captivating stage presence, Agranoff offers audiences far more than a traditional folk concert. His performances blend music, storytelling, humor, and history into an evening that is deeply engaging, thoughtful, and often unforgettable. Advance tickets are $25, and early purchase is strongly encouraged due to the intimate nature of the venue.
