When Zachary Smith and The Mardi Gras Kings return to The Mainstay on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 PM, it will be much more than just another concert. For many longtime Mainstay supporters, it will feel like the return of old friends and a celebration of a musical tradition that has been part of The Mainstay's story for decades.
Kent County is pleased to highlight Michael Sutton, who joined the County about eight months ago as our Director of Human Resources. Michael brings more than 30 years of HR and operations leadership experience, supporting organizations across healthcare, education, manufacturing, technology, retail, nonprofit, and global corporate environments.

Camp New Dawn invites the community to its annual fundraiser on Thursday, June 18, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at the 4-H Park in Centreville. This year’s event will feature a new location and an expanded family-focused atmosphere filled with food, music, games, and community support, all benefiting Camp New Dawn’s grief support programs for children, teens, and families.
The Kent County Board of Education celebrated the outstanding achievements of the high school's student athletes in winter sports earlier this spring. University of Maryland Shore Regional Cardiovascular Diagnostic Center at Easton recently was granted a three-year term of re-accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Echocardiography in the area of Adult Transthoracic. This latest re-accreditation demonstrates the facility’s ongoing commitment to providing quality patient care in echocardiography for the past 25 years.

Leadership Maryland is a statewide nonprofit offering professional development programs dedicated to building a better Maryland by harnessing the strength of its business and community leaders.
The Mainstay is thrilled to welcome Hilary Gardner and The Lonesome Pines to The Mainstay on Saturday, May 30. Hilary and The Pines will be performing songs from their multi award winning album, "On the Trail", which has been named the 2025 Album of the Year by the International Western Music Association.
